Established in the year 1993, the institute started with humble beginnings of a 3-year Diploma programme affiliated to MSBTE approved by AICTE, adding the Bachelor of Hotel & Tourism Management Studies (BHTMS) programme in 2003 with 60 seats, affiliated to the University of Mumbai (UoM) approved by UGC. The year 2007 saw the programme evolve into the University of Mumbai BSc (HS) programme, progressing to 120 seats in 2010-11.

Anjuman-I-Islam’s Institute of Hospitality Management continues to carve its indelible mark in the domain and subdomains of Hospitality. • 3-year Part-Time Masters Programme – M.Sc. In Hotel & Hospitality Administration in affiliation with the University of Mumbai from the Academic year 2017-2018.

• 3year Degree Programme – Bachelor of Science (Hospitality Studies) from the University of Mumbai launched in the year 2003 – 2004. Anjuman-I-Islam’s IHM is the pioneer institute to debut this programme in Mumbai.
